HOME |
All of our English garden style benches and chairs are built using mortise and tenon construction at all joints in the legs, arms, back slats and back and seat rails. The joints between the legs, the back and seat frames are also reinforced with pins in what are called "draw-bore" mortise and tenon joints. The pins secure the joints and hold them tight. What does all this mean to you? Rock solid construction that will stay solid for years to come; joints that will not work lose from day to day use and back slats that don't move and rattle. Most of the competition use screws or bolts to attach the back and seat frames to the legs. Bolts and screws will work lose in just a couple years. These little quality differences assure you that our furniture will still be there for your family to enjoy for years to come. |
